About the role

Are you passionate about community service, animal welfare, and making a difference? Do you have strong administrative skills and a desire to work in a dynamic team? The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a dedicated Ranger Support Officer to join our team!

As a Ranger Business Support Officer, you'll provide crucial administrative support to the Community Rangers team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for enforcing local laws, assisting in the management of the Animal Management Facility, and proving excellent service to the community.

Duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering official notices and providing information to the public.
  • Supporting the Rangers with administrative tasks such as correspondence, filing, and maintaining records.
  • Processing customer service requests and assisting with statistical reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and statutory acts.
  • Assisting with the daily operations of the Animal Management Facility.

  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience in handling animals and the ability to work in a team environment.
