Better Beer is on the hunt for a marketing legend to join the team as the Trade Marketing Manager for Australia & New Zealand. This role within the marketing team demands a strong drive for success, is meticulously organised, has autonomy and solid experience working in the liquor industry.

We're looking for a creative marketer, with experience in a similar role, to take the reins on 'the last three feet of marketing' for one of the most dynamic Australian liquor brands in the market.

Understanding our brand's DNA, who our key drinker is and having your finger on the pulse with trends is key to success with this role.

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing & executing the marketing strategy across Retail and the On Premise in Australia (80%) & New Zealand (20%). The role requires end-to-end management of projects across both channels and markets, to attract new and retain existing consumers.

This is a hybrid role - ideally based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane - and will WFH full-time. You need to be an autonomous self-starter, keen to roll up your sleeves and bring a fresh approach to the brand.

Responsibilities

Development of marketing activation strategy for retail (90%) and the on premise (10%)

Work with suppliers to produce trade marketing premiums (GWPs, CTWs) for the independent channel

Working closely with the sales team to support the execution of seasonal & brand-led marketing campaigns

Support the Brand Ambassadors (BAs) with the appropriate tools and POS to maximise presence in the nationals

Manage POS / Trade Marketing kits for BAs & the sales team

Regular research & reporting

Budget management

Presentations & toolkit management

Understanding marketing acronyms is a must ;)
