Make Moree Shine.
Tourism Moree is looking for a creative, energetic and community-minded individual to lead the charge in marketing our region and enhancing the visitor experience.

This is your opportunity to shape how the Moree Plains is seen — not only as a great place to visit, but a beautiful place to live, work and explore.

About Tourism Moree
Tourism Moree is the official tourism organisation for the Moree Plains Shire. We are committed to showcasing the area’s rich cultural heritage, natural assets, and unique experiences to drive visitation and support local economic development.

Tourism Moree is seeking a dynamic and creative marketing professional to lead the promotion of the Moree Plains Shire — not only as a vibrant tourism destination, but as a place to live, work and invest. This role will drive targeted campaigns to attract visitors and potential residents while contributing to the development and delivery of memorable visitor experiences.

About the Role
The Marketing & Visitor Experience Manager is responsible for leading the promotion and positioning of the Tourism Moree brand and services. This role plays a key part in delivering the Destination Management Plan and marketing strategy, aligning with the organisation’s overall business objectives.

Working closely with the CEO, the Marketing & Visitor Experience Manager will drive brand awareness, manage Tourism Moree’s public presence across digital and traditional channels, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and the wider community.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a mid-career marketing professional who is creative, organised, and passionate about regional tourism. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a flexible, can-do attitude who is comfortable working in a small team environment.

In addition, the role will contribute to the daily operations of the Moree Visitor Information Centre, support Tourism Officers (frontline staff), and play a key role in developing tourism products and local storytelling.
