Our boutique legal practice is seeking an experienced legal secretary to work directly with the Principal in a supportive and autonomous home office environment.
About the role
This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of legal and administrative tasks. You will be instrumental in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and will take ownership of the key areas including:
Account management and general office administration
Conveyancing from start to finish
Trust accounting in accordance with legal practice standards
Client liaison - phone, email and in-person communication
Stationary and supplies management
Preparation of Schedules of Costs and other legal documents
About you
To thrive in this role you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a legal support or paralegal role
Sound knowledge of conveyancing processes and trust accounting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to work independently in a quiet home office setting
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word ad well as Leap legal software is highly regarded
