Gentle Dental Hervey Bay is a locally owned and operated family general dental practice. We provide a relaxed friendly environment for patients to receive treatment for all of their general dental needs as well as Orthodontics, Implants and Crown/Bridge treatments. We are locals of Hervey Bay, so we understand the region for all of its benefits and challenges and we are looking to provide a service that locals can relate to.

This position is an exciting opportunity to be instrumental in the growth of Gentle Dental Hervey Bay as we expand to our newly constructed, purpose built and state of the art clinic in early 2026.

Qualifications & experience

2+ Years recent leadership experience preferred

Business Administration and/or leadership management qualifications/experience

Cert 3 or 4 Dental Assisting

Right to work in Australia

Highly professional with consistent high standards

Ability to encourage, support and lead a team

Punctual and shows initiative

Tasks & responsibilities

Work closely with Business Owners to implement operational standards and practice improvements

Be pivotal in the project of clinic/business expansion and relevant strategic planning

Lead, encourage and demonstrate positive workplace cultures and behaviours

Manage recruitment processes as well as staff onboarding, training and induction

Patient bookings and full patient workflow management. Supervision of front of office Administration

Oversight of clinical team performance and ongoing supervision and support to team as required

Orthodontic, Implantology, Sedation and GA appointment patient support and coordination in collaboration with Treatment Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator

Work closely and collaboratively with other Leaders in the team to implement high standards or practice and enhancements.
