Senior Farm Hand

The Company

YOOROOGA ESTATES PTY LTD is a highly regarded extensive merino sheep, cattle breeding and trading enterprise located on multiple properties in the Yeoval, Nyngan and Brewarrina districts of NSW. Applications are invited for a full-time role to join the team in the Central Division of the business at Yeoval.

The Role

Assist in the management of the main 2,850 hectare property.

Operate, service and maintain plant and machinery including tractors

Conduct maintenance including, fencing, yard building and welding

Keep a tidy and safe workplace

Skills & Experience

Positive attitude with a high attention to detail

Must have previous experience in a similar role, or a Farm Hand looking to take the next step with more responsibility

Must have own working dogs

Welding and fencing capabilities highly desirable

Effective communication and record keeping

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Computer literacy
