SENIOR FARMHAND- CROPPING FOCUSED

We are a family owned and operated mixed farming operation located 30km from Grenfell, 42km from Forbes and 50km from Cowra. Running a self-replacing Merino flock, cereal cropping and pasture improvement programs. We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual who can run all aspects of the cropping and pasture programs. Assistance with livestock will be required periodically.

The role includes:

Spraying, sowing and spreading

Maintenance of the plant and equipment

Periodic sheep work

General farm duties e.g. fencing, water infrastructure etc.

Ideal candidate skills:

Excellent mechanical skills

Welding

HC licence advantageous but not essential

Fencing

Sheep husbandry skills

Excellent communication skills

Positive attitude
