About the role

Milburn Creek Stud, a leading horse breeding farm in the heart of the The Southern Highlands region of New South Wales, is seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our 150-acre property, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our facilities, and resources.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of farmhands and labourers to ensure all daily tasks and chores are completed to a high standard

Maintaining and repairing farm equipment, fencing, and infrastructure to keep the property in top condition

Monitoring and optimising the use of land, water, and other resources to maximise productivity and sustainability

Implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols to protect the wellbeing of all staff and animals on the property

Liaising with the stud manager and other key stakeholders to report on progress, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the farm

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a farm supervisory role

Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate a team

Proficient in the use of farm machinery and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and carry out minor repairs

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurity

A valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
