FARM OVERSEER WANTED.

70-90K Salary + 2 bedroom house on farm + 2022 Toyota Hilux + super + benefits

Looking for a young, observant and energetic person to join the family business on a 2000 ha cropping/ cattle/ sheep property located 25kms west of Young.

This person will work with the manager and will be in charge of all cropping operations and machinery maintenance across the 2000 ha property.

The job will include and not limited to:

- Executing annual cropping, grazing and pasture programs with modern John Deere and Bourgualt equipment.

- Managing the header and chaser bin logistics/operations during harvest. - Machinery maintenance and welding/fabrication. - Assisting with implementing the cropping programs on the other properties located in Harden and Yass.

- Some assistance with the livestock program will be required.

- Work on your own as well as in a team

A truck license, chem cert and working dogs are appreciated but not essential.

There are opportunities for progression within the business through the family’s other properties within the district. Ideal for someone with a few years’ experience looking to step up from farm hand to overseer.
