About the role

The Aged Care and Disability Operational & Quality Service Manager role is based in Angurugu, NT 0822 and offered as a fixed-term contract for 2 years. Reporting to the Director of Council and Community Services, you’ll lead the strategic and operational delivery of aged care and disability services across the Groote Archipelago.

This senior leadership role oversees teams, ensures compliance with funding and quality standards, manages grants and policies, and drives continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in delivering culturally responsive, high-quality care through strong stakeholder engagement and executive oversight.

What you'll be doing

Lead and oversee the aged care and disability services department to ensure efficient and effective service delivery across the centres

Develop, implement and monitor strategic plans and quality assurance frameworks to maintain and continuously improve service standards

Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups, to identify and address the evolving needs of service users

Lead recruitment, development, and retention of a skilled workforce, promoting a positive, culturally safe work environment.

Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the leadership team to drive innovation and enhance the overall service offering

Manage budgets, resources and staffing to optimise service delivery within financial constraints

What we're looking for

Extensive experience in the management and delivery of aged care and/or disability services

Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement frameworks

Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders

Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for service enhancement

Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities, with a focus on developing and empowering teams

Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field, such as Community Services, Health, Social Work or Management.
