Why This Role Matters

We need an experienced web developer who lives and breathes Next.js (and TypeScript) and who’s equally excited about super-charging their workflow with AI tools such as Claude Code. You’ll build features that directly improve patient care, shape our developer culture, and grow into a leadership position as the team expands.

What You’ll Do

Design, build and maintain modern web apps with Next.js and TypeScript

Work closely with product, ML and DevOps to deliver features end-to-end on Azure and AWS

Champion performance, accessibility and security best practices

Leverage AI coding assistants daily—automated PR reviews, test generation, code suggestions, etc.

Participate in agile sprints, peer reviews and rapid release cycles

Grow with the company: mentor juniors and step towards team leadership over time

About You – Essential

Must-haves

Experience

5 + years as a professional web developer

Next.js expertise

You’ve shipped production features in Next.js; deep TypeScript knowledge welcome

AI tool adoption

Regular user of coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Codeium) and keen to push the limits

Cloud familiarity

Hands-on with Azure, AWS or GCP

Work eligibility

You already hold the right to work in Australia (we can’t sponsor visas)

Soft skills

Clear communicator, proactive, collaborative, mission-driven

Nice-to-have

Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Pipelines or similar DevOps tools

OpenTelemetry, CosmosDB or event-driven architectures

Experience in the health-tech / healthcare industry
