At Elizabeth Andrews Catering, you won’t just be crunching numbers—you’ll be the friendly voice behind our accounts team. In this entry-level role, you’ll handle customer account queries and support the collections process through soft, professional follow-up calls. It’s the perfect first step into finance with a customer service focus.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with our finance and customer service teams to manage inbound accounts queries and proactively follow up on overdue invoices. This is a full-time role working 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, at our West Melbourne office.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to account-related phone and email enquiries from clients
Follow up on overdue invoices via soft outbound calls to corporate customers
Log and track customer interactions and outcomes in our internal systems
Maintain and update customer records and payment notes
Assist with basic account reconciliation and reporting
Support general clerical tasks as per Clerical Grade 3 duties
Typical Clerical Grade 3 Tasks (as per HIGA Award)
Process and sort financial documents (e.g. invoices, receipts)
Use software to prepare, edit and save standard business documents
Operate office equipment, including phones, scanners, and computers
Maintain filing systems and update internal databases
Answer phones, take messages, and redirect enquiries
Use spreadsheets and databases to manage information
About You
Clear and professional phone manner
Friendly and confident communicator
Good attention to detail and ability to stay organised
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other basic software
Previous experience in admin, reception, or customer service is a bonus—but not essential
