About Us

Based in Oakleigh South, this business is a supplier of glass products to the building and construction industry who is currently looking for an Accounts All Rounder to take ownership of their customers within the accounts department.

Reporting to the Office Manager, this role requires you to join the team to service your clients by phone or via email to make sure all deadlines and expectations are met. Working Monday to Friday 8am –4pm this is an ongoing casual role that will see you transitioning to fulltime after a successful 6-month probation period.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective collection and maintenance of customer accounts
• Manage competing priorities while delivering a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.
• Handle collections, reconciliations, and general account maintenance.
• Review and analyse trade credit applications; provide recommendations on credit limits based on responsible lending criteria.
• Prepare weekly and month-end financial reports, including statements and cash flow projections.
• Monitor accounts and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
• Process and allocate incoming payments daily
• Maintain accurate delivery records including run sheets and delivery dockets.
• Possess a sound understanding of commercial contract requirements and monthly progress claims.

Experience and Qualifications

• Accounts background within a manufacturing, warehousing or distribution sector
• Proficiency in using Accounts software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and quality
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced call centre environment
• Knowledge of commercial contracts and credit risk management (preferred)
