They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their growing team. This role is pivotal in providing support for both the Finance and the Operations team within the Australian business - immediate start on an initial temp role with potential to go permanent.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE.

• Assist the Finance team in the month-end process.
• Process invoices other financial transactions incl. processing service agent invoices and credit notes.
• Perform Accounts Receivable function incl. sending statements to our customers and collection and allocation of receipts into the system.
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Review and post Credit Card transactions.
• Manage the Accounts Australia mailbox.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation.
• Assist the Head of Finance and Ops. in coordinating operational activities as directed.
• Maintain inventory records and work with our Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure stock count accuracy.
• Any other duties the Head of Finance and Operations requires assistance with.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

• 2 + years' experience in a similar role
• Working towards CPA is highly regarded
• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• High level written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to ensure deliverables are met.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Systems & proficient with excel
• Experience with retail is a plus but not essential
• Ability to solve problems, be adaptable and make decisions
