Introduction:

We are currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Management Accountant on a 6 months temporary contractual basis for a leading commercial organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. You will report to the Finance Business Partner - Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
• Handling GL journals, processing journals on Excel and In-house systems
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Participating in month end and financial year end duties
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant for 4+ years
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Studying towards CA/ CPA - Part Qualified is preferred
• Based in CBD - 1 day WFH is allowed
