Financial Accountant

3 month contract opportunity

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join an ASX-listed fintech company for a 3-month contract. Support year-end accounting process, reporting and audit.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and review of year-end financial statements

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, ASIC regulations, and ASX reporting requirements

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Support the audit process and provide required documentation

Perform reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

Requirements:

CA or CPA qualified

Proven experience in financial accounting / reporting

ASX listed experience

Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, ASIC, and ASX reporting requirements

Fintech or FS experience is highly desirable but not essential

Immediate availability and ability to commit to the full contract term
