Mint is a family owned business (Mum & Daughter duo) and we are looking for a fun, likeminded individual to coordinate the quoting of our furniture projects.

This role is in our Alexandria Office which is attached to our furniture showroom.

We are a team of 13, everyone are treated as family and we all love what we do.

We are currently incorporating Hub Spot CRM into our business so HubSpot or similar experience is a bonus. Advanced practices in Microsoft Excel essential.

Here's a bit about the role:

Quoting

Managing the quoting Excel master document

Setting up the quoting documents

Requesting quotes from stated suppliers on a FFE schedule

Liaising with suppliers for quotes

Appointing supplier quotes to items on FFE schedule

Generating itemised Mint quoted price using supplier quotes, assembly costs, fabric costs and international shipping costs

Approving quotes with Senior Management

Issuing approved quote to the relevant sales rep

Ordering

Confirming final finishes and quantities with sales reps

Preparing purchase orders for each supplier listed on newly placed orders

Approving purchase orders for newly placed orders with Head of Ops

Issuing purchase orders to all suppliers on newly paced orders

Accounts Payable

Confirming invoices from suppliers are correct

Ensuring relevant supplier deposit or payments are made against each invoice and appointed to the relevant job

Tracking receipts of payment per invoice

Accounts receivable

Requesting deposit invoices from accounts for new orders

Requesting progress invoices from accounts for orders with international shipping

Requesting final invoices from accounts for orders with a planned delivery date

Confirming invoice is correct

Issuing invoice to client

If invoice is not paid in 7 working days – chasing client for invoice payment and payment before delivery of goods.

Assigning payments to jobs and item costs to jobs

International payments

Use a FX company to pay international factories

International Shipping

Arranging shipping of fabric (consolidated where possible) to international factories where custom fabric is part of a new order

Liaising with international freight forwarders to ensure LSI, invoice, labelling and customs documents are correct.
