You will be joining a high dedicated Procurement Team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiencies and service levels across a range of diverse products and services for Peninsula.
Reporting to our Head of Procurement you will be responsible for establishing new processes; ensuring adherence to budgets; contract negotiations (new and renewals); assessing contract risk and service level quality.
You will be someone who has experience with identifying process improvements, who can build strong working relationships and who has the drive and ambition to significantly contribute to our ongoing success.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Collaboration & Compliance – Be the go-to person for internal and external stakeholders to establish appropriate products and services that comply and align with Peninsula.
- Sourcing and Negotiation – comparing and evaluating quotes from potential suppliers and ensuring that the correct products and services are purchased at the right price.
- Relationship Building – Have strong commercial acumen to build relationship to ensure the Peninsula is the supplier’s customer of choice.
What We’re Looking For:
- You will have at least 2 years’ experience in Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain environment.
- You'll experience working across numerous categories including – Fleet Management, Travel and IT.
- Have a high level of computer literacy, particularly with Word and Excel.
- Experience working closely with finance teams understanding – budgets, invoice management, good received, and obtaining quotes.
- Must have a VALID drivers license.
