Known for their collaborative, high-performing team and impressive reputation in building certification across commercial and residential projects this consultancy is now looking for a motivated Administration Assistant to join our Surry Hills office.

About the Role

You'll play a key part in supporting one of our Directors by managing documentation and case flow through for certifcation processes. You’ll be responsible for tracking project progress, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring timelines and compliance steps are met. Attention to detail and understanding of the property certification cycle is a must.

Your day will include:

  • A morning meeting with your Director to prioritise daily workflow before they head offsite and you are empowered to run your day
  • Working autonomously lodging and managing applications
  • Monitoring project timelines and tracking case milestones
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients and external stakeholders
  • Following up documents, reports, and certificates to keep files complete and compliant
  • Coordinating with council, engineers, architects and external stakeholders
  • Working alongside supportive and experienced administrative team colleagues
  • Providing general administrative support to the team

About You
You thrive in structured yet fast-paced environments, enjoy taking ownership of tasks, and can confidently liaise with both internal team members and external clients.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in administration within property, planning, real estate, construction or local government (or a strong interest to grow in this space)
  • High attention to detail and confidence using online portals and workflow systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to see tasks through from start to finish
  • Experience with the NSW Planning Portal will be a huge plus
  • Availability to work onsite full-time in our Surry Hills office
