About the role
We are seeking a talented Office Administration Assistant to join our team at AHRENS ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS CONSULTANTS' in Tweed Heads, NSW. This is a full-time role that will involve providing essential administrative support to our accounting and business consulting practice.
What you'll be doing
Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings for the accounting team
Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems to ensure efficient record-keeping
Assisting with the preparation of client invoices and other financial documents
Ordering office supplies and managing inventory as needed
Providing general administrative support to the broader accounting and consulting team
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office administrator, ideally within an accounting or professional services environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
A friendly, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a team
Knowledge of accounting practices and terminology is highly desirable
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
