Regional Manager – (Conveyor Systems | Bulk Materials Handling – Grain)

This is a senior-level sales and leadership opportunity for a confident and technically capable professional to represent a well-established engineering and manufacturing business with a strong presence in conveyor componentry, elevator systems, and hazard monitoring technology. With an approximate annual turnover of $10M and growing, the business is now transitioning from founder-led engagement to a regionally structured leadership model, and this role is central to that evolution.
This company supports grain and food producers, feed and seed processors, and select industrial bulk handling operations, delivering engineered solutions for some of the most demanding materials environments.
Head office in Brisbane, reporting to the Managing Director; but the right talent can be based anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Drive technical sales and leadership strategy across a full range of elevator buckets, belting, forged chains, monitoring systems, and engineered components
Represent the business across grain handling (80%) and industrial (20%) operations – sugar, feed, seed, and bulk solids
Engage directly with customers in regional and rural operations – from mills to terminals to processing sites
Manage a mature portfolio of tier 1 and 2 accounts, while actively developing new relationships across agricultural networks
Operate autonomously, with significant travel throughout Australia and some engagement across Asia Pacific
Step into a role created to support business growth while easing direct leadership from day-to-day frontline delivery
Your Profile
We are looking for an individual who blends technical credibility, sales confidence, and regional practicality. You will be a trusted face for customers operating in high-value, high-demand materials handling environments.
You will demonstrate:
3+ years’ experience in technical sales or business development within mechanical, agricultural, or industrial equipment
Strong working knowledge of conveyor systems, bucket elevators, or bulk materials transfer technology
A trade qualification or mechanical engineering background (formal or practical)
Confidence dealing with procurement and operational leaders in grain handling, milling, or industrial processing
Comfort working remotely and travelling independently to client sites (Brisbane-based preferred, flexible otherwise)
A grounded and character-driven approach – this is not a transactional sales role
On Offer
Base salary of $120,000 – $150,000 p.a + Super, experience
$25,000 car allowance
Uncapped incentives
Broad autonomy with no hard sales budget targets
