My client is a growing mid-sized Chartered Accounting firm in the CBD. They are specialists in the Tax, Business Advisory, Audit and Corporate Finance space and service a range of Australian businesses, families and also multinationals.
They are seeking an Administration Assistant to join their team to assist with the organisation’s daily operations. Working in admin team of 5 and reporting to the Partner, your roles consists of:
Collating tax returns and financials
ASIC compliance including processing annual statements, incorporating companies, trusts, SMSFs etc, minutes, ABN/TFN registrations, making changes to addresses, shares etc.
Lodgements or tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT and SMSFs
Liaising with clients, ATO, ASIC and other institutions
Updating internal client database
Prepare reports and summaries for the team
Filing – electronically and manually
Disbursements and entering into the system
Reception relief
Ad-hoc project based tasks
Applicants
Minimum 1 year experience in an admin role ideally within a professional services firm
Experience with MYOB and/or Xero
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
Organised and detail-oriented
