About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and coordinate our HR and workplace relations functions. This role is critical to supporting our growing team and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and labour agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and plans aligned with business goals.

Advise managers on recruitment, selection, induction, training, and development.

Lead performance management systems to enhance individual and team outcomes.

Represent the company in negotiations with unions and employees.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and equal employment opportunity legislation.

Manage redundancy and retrenchment processes with sensitivity and professionalism.

Monitor employment costs and workforce productivity.

Train and support managers in HR and workplace relations matters.

About You

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a senior HR role.

Proven experience in strategic HR planning and employee relations.

Strong understanding of Australian workplace laws and compliance frameworks.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Experience in regulated industries or agriculture/horticulture sectors is highly desirable.
