Clinical Support Administrator – Primed Allied Health Hub
Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time Options Available
Essential Criteria:
Prior experience in medical or clinical administration
Strong organisational and communication skills
Highly Desirable:
Experience using Halaxy practice management software
Familiarity with allied health or multidisciplinary settings
Local applicants from Northern Beaches or North Sydney preferred
Remuneration:
$27 to $36 per hour, depending on experience and employment type (casual, part-time, or full-time)
The position is primarily onsite but occasional work from home might be also available
About us
Primed Health Hub is a new but growing multidisciplinary centre bringing together GPs, psychologists, dietitians and occupational therapists under one roof. We deliver both in-person and telehealth services to local and regional patients.
The opportunity
We are seeking a casual Administrative Assistant to provide front-of-house and backend support across our allied-health team. The role is ideal for someone with "proven Halaxy experience" who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment but values flexible hours.
Key responsibilities
Manage reception: greet patients, answer phones, triage enquiries
Schedule appointments, individual sessions and telehealth links in Halaxy
Process Medicare, DVA and SIRA workers-compensation billings and remittances
Prepare new-patient files, scan and upload referrals, maintain secure records
Generate daily clinician lists, room allocations and end-of-day banking reports
Support clinicians with template letters, bulk SMS reminders and basic IT tasks
Assist with stock control, office supplies and general practice presentation
Essential criteria
Minimum 12 months’ medical or allied-health administration experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Halaxy Practice Management Software
Strong knowledge of Medicare and private billing workflows
Excellent phone manner, written communication and data-entry accuracy
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and maintain confidentiality
Desirable
Familiarity with SIRA workers-compensation billing
Experience in a multidisciplinary or rehabilitation setting
Current CPR certificate
