We are looking for a friendly, motivated and hard-working Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy Specialist Orthopaedic Team at The Junction on a full time basis.

We are looking for someone who can multitask, be organised, possess excellent customer service skills and work as part of a team. We are looking for someone who thrives on a challenge to cope with the pace of a very active business.

You will be front of house and your key responsibilities will include:

Meeting & greeting patients

Answering phones

Booking appointments

Taking payments

Processing Medicare rebates

Daily banking

Scanning & Filing

Quoting

Theatre bookings

Other administrative tasks

Essential skills:

Minimum of 3 years experience in medical reception/administration

Possess excellent time management skills

Have great people skills

Capable of learning new tasks

Demonstrate advanced computer skills

Excellent attention to detail

Able to prioritize tasks with a good sense of initiative

Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Desirable experience:

Previous experience with medical software Genie

Previous experience in an orthopaedic specialist medical practice

Knowledge of medical terminology

This will be a full-time role. Our office is opened Mon-Fri 730am-530pm. You will work a 4 day work week roster, working every Monday - Thursday 730am - 530pm and have every Friday off.
