About the job
The Quality Compliance Officer role aims to support the review and implementation of systems, processes, and activities that support a robust Quality Framework, which is focused on customer outcomes, continuous improvement across the business, and meeting the requirements of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards. This role reports to the Quality Outcomes Manager and is part of the Aged Care and Quality team.
General responsibilities include:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by championing quality initiatives, continuous improvement, and positive change management throughout your interactions with others.
In collaboration with the Quality and Care Teams, record, manage, and report on incidents and feedback.
Complete incident, complaint and whistleblower investigations.
Support quality activities (internal audits) that ensure internal and external regulatory compliance.
Support the day-to-day Emergency and Disaster Management (EDM) system and provide support to the Quality Team and the EDM Response Team.
Support the business with compliance activities and projects.
Assist the Quality Team with other general administrative tasks.
Experience / Qualifications
Tertiary education in the field of Human, Health and/or community services, or Quality is preferred.
Experience in administration tasks and/or an administrative environment.
Customer service experience is highly desirable.
Experience in a quality or compliance role in health services, community, disability, and/or aged care sector is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-organised, self-directed, and able to manage competing priorities.
Technologically confident; able to use digital platforms for care planning and data entry.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.
Current driver’s license and National Police Check.
You must have the right to work in Australia.
