We are looking for a receptionist to join our growing Admin team at the Ballarat Women's Clinic.

As the first point of contact, you will be integral in helping the women in our care have an exceptional experience.

Currently, our admin team consists of a practice manager, practice nurse and other medical receptionists.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Answering incoming calls

Patient enquiries and booking appointments

Meeting and greeting patients

Managing the day to day billings and patient accounts including financial consent and payment arrangements

Organising hospital and surgical bookings

Maintaining patient records

Providing administrative support to medical practitioners and management team

To secure an interview, and hopefully be offered the job, we are looking for people who demonstrate the following:

A love of admin! This is a role requiring a great eye for detail and pride in ticking off tasks on a ‘to-do’ list.

An ability to navigate new software programs and feel confident with IT. We use Macs with programs Genie, Outlook and Excel. If you know these programs already, that is a bonus but not essential to apply.

Be able to work within a team to deliver a very high standard of patient care.

Have great initiative and to work independently if needed.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is a rewarding role within women's healthcare with excellent amenity and work culture.

This is a part time position with alternating starting times, approximately 1pm most days and finish times up to 6.30pm on some days.
