About the role

This part-time Senior Medical Receptionist role at Zest Medical is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic and growing healthcare organisation. Based in Ashburton VIC 3147, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and front-of-house support to our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner

Efficiently managing patient bookings, enquiries and medical record maintenance

Coordinating and overseeing the work of junior receptionists

Ensuring compliance with all practice policies and procedures

Supporting the clinical team with various administrative tasks as required

Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of practice operations

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Proficient in using medical practice management software, (Best Practice) and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff would be highly regarded

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to patient-centred care
