Medical receptionist role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a medical receptionist to join our fast-paced, close-knit surgical clinic 3 days per week. You will be joining a small reception team and working closely with our Orthopadic team and nursing staff.

There is an opportunity for different shifts each week, with half days and full days available on a set 4 week roster.

This is a great opportunity for those who are eager to learn, driven and empathetic, whilst also possessing a strong customer service background.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling and managing appointments
• Answering the phone and forwarding patient queries to the relevant team member
• Taking payments at the end of appointments
• Greeting patients as they enter the clinic

You will have:

• Previous receptionist experience, noting that reception experience in the healthcare sector will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated administrative skills including computer literacy
• Strong customer service and patient focus skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn
