MCES is a well-established Ophthalmology facility that prides itself on providing excellent care and customer service. We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist & Surgical Bookings Officer to join our friendly team and contribute to the smooth operation of our clinic.

As a Medical Receptionist & Bookings Officer, you will be the first point of contact for patients, your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to coordinating patient appointments, greeting visitors, managing incoming and outgoing calls, providing patient information for pending surgery and completing an array of administrative tasks. The role will require patience, especially during stressful situations and busy clinics as well as good listening and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will have:

Previous work experience, such as customer service, hospitality or Healthcare work. Medical Reception experience is not required.

Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour. Both face to face and over the phone.

Will be well presented and always punctual

Have good organisation and time management skills.

The ability to work efficiently as part of a team and individually.

Desire to learn new skills

The part-time position is available for 4 days per week (Flexibility with working days, but Tue/Wed/Thur are a must),

Training will be carried out over the first 2-4 weeks of the start date (immediate start), and continued support and mentoring will help you gain the knowledge and capabilities to perform all the tasks required of a Medical Receptionist & Surgical Bookings Officer at MCES.
