Medical Receptionist

We are a bustling private General Practice in Heathmont, searching for an experienced medical receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about providing excellent patient care.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the practice as part of a team, making certain that all patients receive the highest level of customer service. The total hours offered are 18.5 hours over 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close Practice as per set procedure,
• To greet patients and other callers at the Practice courteously and efficiently,
• Deal with telephone enquiries and bookings for doctors and nurses.
• Communicating with patients on arrival and departure
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Manage patient invoicing and receipting
• To exercise confidentiality regarding patient care and all aspects of the Practice.

Previous reception work in a medical practice is required.
