Marketing & Communications Lead
Endeavour Foods
Posted 4 days ago
Do you live and breathe food – especially seafood? Are you a natural storyteller who’s just as comfortable at a chef’s table as you are behind the scenes making magic happen? We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Lead to shape how Endeavour Foods shows up across WA’s hospitality industry – from high level brand strategy to hands on content creation.
This is a flexible part-time role (3 to 4 days per week) - we’re open to shaping the structure with the right candidate. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves eating seafood, discovering great venues, and telling the stories behind the people, produce, and plates. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to build our brand presence, manage partnerships, visit chefs and restaurants, and bring our content and events to life.
It suits someone who is self directed, passionate about food and hospitality, and confident moving between strategy, storytelling, and execution. One day you might be brainstorming brand strategy in the office, the next, filming content in our fish factory or capturing behind the scenes moments in a chef’s kitchen. You’ve got your finger on the pulse of the local food scene, and a genuine passion for seafood - you love it, talk about it, and want others to feel the same.
ABOUT US:
Endeavour Foods is a proudly WA-owned and operated seafood processor and supplier. Since 2001, we’ve earned our reputation on trust, quality, and genuine relationships with our customers - from boutique venues to some of WA’s top restaurants.
Our mission is clear: to inspire clarity and confidence in every seafood decision. We work closely with our partners to ensure seamless access to top quality products while upholding fairness, integrity, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
We’re known for going the extra mile and championing local producers. As we grow, we’re focused on strengthening our brand, sharing our story, and continuing to make seafood easier and more inspiring for chefs and businesses across the state.
ABOUT THE ROLE & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you’ll lead and deliver a wide range of marketing and communications activities that bring our brand to life – both inside and outside the business. Key areas of responsibility include:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
Lead the development and execution of Endeavour Foods’ marketing and communications strategy
Roll out and maintain consistency of our refreshed brand identity across all platforms
Collaborate with the GM and senior leadership to align marketing with business goals
Oversee production of marketing materials (print, digital, video, social)
Monitor campaign performance and provide feedback to the business
Storytelling & Content Creation
Visit restaurants and customers regularly to capture stories, interviews, and food content
Spend time in the fish factory and warehouse to understand and communicate our process
Coordinate the creation of photo and video content, including short-form educational or behind-the-scenes videos
Work with chefs, suppliers, and the team to bring our story to life across social media and our website
Build a content calendar that reflects seasonality, product availability, events, and partnerships
Communications
Write and manage internal and external business communications
Prepare press releases, newsletters, stakeholder updates, and staff communications
Ensure all communications reflect our brand tone and values
Events & Partnerships
Plan, coordinate, and promote trade events, chef lunches, and sponsorships
Build and maintain partnerships with chefs, restaurants, producers, and industry bodies
Represent Endeavour Foods professionally at key events
ABOUT YOU – SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Our ideal candidate will bring:
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
3+ years’ experience in a marketing, brand, or communications role (preferably in food, hospitality, or FMCG)
A foodie mindset and genuine love of seafood, paired with a passion for food and hospitality - you love getting out and about, chatting with chefs, and understanding what makes the industry tick
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with experience across digital, social, and print channels
Confidence in working independently and proactively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Experience coordinating or producing photography and videography projects
A natural communicator who builds genuine relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
Comfortable being onsite regularly (including our fish factory) and capturing authentic, engaging content from the ground up
WHY JOIN US?
Shape and lead a newly created role with the freedom to make it your own
Be part of a business that champions local producers, supports WA hospitality, and believes in doing things the right way
Collaborate directly with senior leadership on exciting brand, content, and event initiatives
Work in a values driven business that cares about quality, relationships, and long-term impact
Enjoy variety in your work – from strategy to storytelling, customer visits to campaign planning
Flexible part-time role (3 to 4 days per week) – we’re open to shaping the structure with the right candidate
