The Role: Leading Hand – Commercial Fit-Out Carpenter

We’re looking for a driven Leading Hand Carpenter with experience in commercial fit-outs — including office, education, and refurbishment projects.

You’ll lead from the front, coordinating trades, delivering detailed work, and ensuring quality on-site. The role offers a combination of hands-on carpentry and site leadership.

What You’ll Need:

6+ years of commercial carpentry and fit-out experience

Demonstrated leadership ability on-site

Confidence in reading and interpreting construction drawings

High attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Own tools and reliable transport

Professionalism, reliability, and initiative

Scope of Works:

Set-out

Steel stud and track framing

Bulkheads and suspended ceilings

Plastering and finishing

Aluminium framing and glazing

Detailed feature walls and ceilings

Doors, skirtings & hardware installs

Basic admin including site coordination and ordering
