As a Leading Hand/Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations on job sites, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. You will also lead the team, ensuring they work efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of workmanship.

With a strong understanding of electrical rules, regulations, and best practices, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance on-site and addressing any technical challenges as they arise. Your ability to problem-solve on the spot will be essential in maintaining productivity and safety.

Working closely with the electrical team, you will provide leadership and guidance so that team members can learn and grow. You will also ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with project requirements and specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

To succeed in this role, a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience outside the apprenticeship is required.

Lead and supervise commercial and residential jobs & projects, ensuring efficient job completion.

Manage day-to-day operations on-site and ensure adherence to safety standards

Coordinate and allocate tasks to team members based on skills and job requirements

Provide guidance and training to team members & apprentices

Hands-on electrical work, including maintenance, installations, and upgrades (e.g., switchboards, data, mains, and communication systems)

Ensure all jobs are completed on time and within budget

Maintain clear communication with project managers and clients

Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organised
