The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales & Estimating Team Leader to oversee and support our internal sales and estimating function. In this pivotal role, you will manage a small team, coordinate the estimating workflow, drive internal sales performance, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely quotations to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the internal sales and estimating team to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
Oversee the preparation of accurate, cost-effective, and competitive project quotes.
Allocate and prioritise incoming enquiries to ensure efficient response times.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to clarify project scopes and propose tailored solutions.
Maintain and enhance CRM and quoting systems to ensure accuracy and productivity.
Train, mentor, and support team members to continually improve performance and product knowledge.
Monitor sales and quoting metrics and provide regular performance reporting to management.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in internal sales, estimating, or sales coordination, ideally within construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
Strong leadership capability with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Excellent time management and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in quoting systems, pricing structures, and margin analysis.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a customer-focused mindset.
Competency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office suite (experience with [insert CRM/tool used at Safemaster] highly regarded).
Technical aptitude or experience with engineered or modular systems is advantageous.
