As a General Services Officer / Cleaner, you will play a vital part in ensuring our residents live in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will directly support the wellbeing and dignity of the elderly in our care.

This role also includes laundry responsibilities, helping to ensure that residents’ personal clothing and facility linens are hygienically cleaned, dried, and handled with care.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces to a high standard

Performing laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing clothing and linens

Ensuring infection control procedures are followed

Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns

Working collaboratively with other staff to maintain a warm and respectful environment

About You:

Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality settings

Experience with or willingness to perform laundry tasks in a high-volume setting

A genuine compassion for the elderly and a desire to help them live their best life

Reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Understanding of safe chemical handling and infection control (training provided if needed)

Current NDIS Screen check or willingness to obtain one
