Client Service Officer – Proactive Customer Management

  • $42.26/hr + Super
  • ASAP start | Contract until 27 July 2025
  • 35 hours per week (No WFH)

Are you passionate about helping vulnerable people and making a real impact in the community? We’re looking for a dedicated Client Service Officer to join NSW Trustee & Guardian, providing exceptional financial management services to those who need it most.

About the Role
As a Client Service Officer, you will manage a caseload of customers, providing high-quality, empathetic, and timely support in line with NSW Trustee & Guardian’s Customer Excellence Principles. You'll help customers make important financial decisions and liaise with internal teams to ensure the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to manage customers’ financial affairs, including long-term planning
  • Build rapport with customers and understand their financial needs and goals
  • Actively listen and resolve enquiries from customers and stakeholders
  • Deliver respectful and consistent service in line with Customer Excellence Principles
  • Collaborate with teams across Estate Planning, Administration, and Public Guardian services
  • Use internal systems to manage customer cases and suggest process improvements
  • Escalate complex matters to senior officers as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with or supporting people with disability, older individuals, or vulnerable populations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with care and professionalism
  • Comfortable working on a rotating phone roster (between 9am – 5pm)
  • Willing to have calls and emails monitored for quality and training
