Main Responsibilities

· Source and assess suppliers for quality and price

· Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms of trade

· Place orders, track shipments, and manage inventory

· Work with service managers and technicians to forecast demand

· Resolve supplier issues and ensure timely deliveries

· Keep accurate purchasing records

Role Overview

As an Automotive Parts Purchaser, you’ll source, negotiate, and buy automotive components from local, interstate and sometimes international suppliers. You’ll help ensure inventory levels are maintained, and parts meet our quality standards.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in parts purchasing or procurement (automotive preferred)

· Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

· Knowledge of automotive parts and systems

· Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented

· Highly proficient with procurement software and MS Office

· Able to process orders and invoices, and ensuring accurate record-keeping into computer systems

· Train all personnel in pre-ordering and ordering all components and supplies in a timely manner so as not to delay the service and repair times.

· Maintain all warranty claims and assist in all changes and coordinate with vendors and staff for all shipping delays to ensure compliance to time.
