We are currently seeking a passionate and driven service solution specialist, to champion the Spare Parts division of WFL Queensland.
The Role:
The Spare Parts Interpreter will actively support the Field Service and Workshop teams, providing an added level of value to our existing service offering, and an opportunity to make this role your own. The role requires a dedicated service focus both internally and externally, and will incorporate duties including:
· Providing pricing, parts & technical assistance to the sales and service teams
· Handling customer enquiries, identifying parts and dispatching in a timely fashion
· Following up outstanding quotations and purchase orders
· Managing parts ordering for Field Service mechanics and the Service workshop
· Monitoring and managing all spare parts and consumables
· Maintaining spare parts storage areas
· Processing all incoming and outgoing freight in our InspHire system
· Allocation and distribution of all spare parts
· Complete and follow up warranty claims on machinery repairs and parts
· Complete quoting of additional parts and work for internal hire units and retail units
· Provide assistance and relief to the Service Department staff
The Right Person for the Role:
The successful candidate must be an individual who embraces challenges and responsibility with enthusiasm and energy. You are customer service focused, pride yourself on your professional approach and possess a positive attitude.
The position requires the following experience and skills:
An understanding of the material handling industry with particular emphasis on the technical aspects would be advantageous, but not essential
Experience with ERP system or stock management program (desirable)
Excellent written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Intermediate PC skills
Strong customer focus with the ability to deal with customers and team members at all levels
Strong attention to detail and accuracy and excellent organisation skills
Thoroughness in performing assigned tasks
Willingness to be an integral part of the team and work autonomously when required
Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
