The Opportunity
As we continue to strengthen our presence in the Hunter Valley, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will focus on managing and growing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities within our current client base, and driving further business growth in the region. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of a well-established and respected company with a proven track record in delivering high-quality services to tier 1 clients.
The Role:
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the mining, quarry and civil services sector.
Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
Collaborate closely with our dedicated teams in Newcastle, QLD, and the Hunter Valley to ensure seamless service execution and delivery.
Lead business development strategies, including negotiations, proposals, and contract discussions with tier 1 clients.
Contribute to the company’s strategic growth plans for the NSW branch, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
To be successful
Proven experience in business development or sales within the mining or civil services sectors.
Strong understanding of the NSW market and the mining, civil or quarry industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative, team-focused organisation.
Willingness to travel across NSW as required.
