Are you a senior professional with a strong background in Big 4 consulting or legal services and a track record of building trusted relationships? Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth across our Digital Forensics, Incident Response, and Cyber Advisory services.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of one of Australia’s most respected cyber security firms by bringing our market-leading forensic capabilities to new enterprise, legal, and regulatory clients.
About the Role
In this senior, Sydney-based position, you will:
- Lead business development efforts for digital forensics, eDiscovery, and cyber incident response services.
- Leverage your Big 4 connections and professional services background and high-level network to unlock opportunities with law firms, general counsel, insurers, and large corporates (1,000+ employees).
- Position our client as a trusted advisor to clients navigating disputes, litigation, cyber breaches, and regulatory investigations.
- Collaborate with internal forensic, legal tech, and cybersecurity experts to align client needs with tailored solutions.
- Drive high-value engagements and manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary: Circa $200,000 + Significant STI & LTI
Security Clearance: Baseline preferred
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business development within a Big 4 or Tier 1 consulting, legal, or accounting firm.
- Strong and active network of senior contacts in legal, compliance, or corporate risk environments.
- Deep understanding of how to sell complex professional services in high-trust, high-stakes environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and pipeline targets.
- Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency (Baseline Security Clearance preferred or eligibility to obtain).
