My client is seeking an experienced National Business Manager to lead our team in the Food Service region. This strategic position is key to driving growth in critical Food Service channels and will be responsible for managing both in-house and outsourced sales teams to meet and exceed weekly sales targets.

In this role, you will

  • Oversee all Food Service channels including HORECA, Bakery, Aged Care, Pubs & Clubs, and Industrial sectors;
  • Have full P&L responsibility for Food Service;
  • Develop and execute annual and monthly customer plans aligned with business goals;
  • Manage trade spending and lead product forecasting across the market;
  • Drive new business and maintain key account relationships;
  • Ensure accurate forecasting of distributor sales;
  • Lead new product launches and work with distributors and the marketing team; and
  • This role reports directly to the GM and offers regular exposure to senior management, making strong communication and business performance ownership critical to success.

About You

My client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact. You’ll be a self-starter with a growth mindset, capable of managing multiple key accounts while driving sales through the funnel.

To excel in this role, you should have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher;
  • Food Service experience with senior NAM /FS Channel Head experience in top-tier companies; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Skills and Experience You Bring

  • Experience managing Food Service channels across various industries;
  • Proven ability to drive business performance, manage P&L, and deliver on KPIs;
  • Skilled in forecasting, trade spending management, and delivering product launches;
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and negotiating Key Accounts;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams; and
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to lead your team and work collaboratively.
