About us

We are a growing family-run organisation with several boutique bars, pubs and restaurant operations located in Newcastle and The Hunter.

We are seeking a self motivated, trustworthy and experienced general manager to become part of the family.

You will be a strong leader and capable of running your own show within the group.

The Role

We are looking for the best. Someone who knows their food and drinks to head up the operations of this important craft beer, cocktail, and food venue. An individual who sees the strategic importance of our offering and is willing to stay ahead of the curve within the industry.

You will lead your team through example ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. A strong hospitality background with a passion for craft beer, cocktails, and good food.

You have the ability to hire, mentor and develop a team to deliver quality and consistency in every facet of the business.

The successful applicant will possess:

Previous management experience and strong knowledge in all aspects of running a busy hotel including bar, food and accommodation.

A drive and passion to be recognised as the best venue operator in a tightly controlled market.

Current RSA & RCG certificates

A hands-on approach to management

A friendly, self-motivated personality with excellent people skills

A passion for the hospitality industry with the ability to create a positive and proactive working environment

The following attributes are also considered desirable:

A demonstrated understanding of industry-related technology systems

A demonstrated understanding of the locality, its' clientele, and business drivers

Strong reporting and analysis skills
