With plans to grow their stores dramatically over the coming months, we and are looking for an area General Manager to lead openings and growth in the Sydney Market.
With several outlets in others states and new, multiple openings in the Sydney market, this is a challenge to jump at. If you come from a structured quick service background, this could be the role for you. With multiple openings across different brands, our client seeks an experienced operations manager to take on the role of General Manager across the suite of offerings. Reporting to the Director, you will be overseeing the planning and opening of several distinct offerings with the plan for others in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
People:
- Train and develop Management team for effective leadership.
- Motivate and inspire our people and guests with engagement and connection.
- Manage staffing mix to meet brand requirements.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure exceptional operations and Shift Running in each restaurant.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage operational times to enhance the Guest experience.
Processes - Collaborative Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe working environment and compliance with OH&S.
- Manage repairs, maintenance, and protect against policy breaches.
Processes - Area Manager:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all systems and processes.
- Ensure Managers are proficient in brand processes.
- Proactively manage COGS and labor costs, complete QARs.
Numbers:
- Responsible for restaurant-specific sales, volume growth, and cost control.
- Monitor Main Item Volume forecasts and restaurant labour costs.
- Use business information for informed decision-making.
New Restaurant Openings:
- Work with relevant parties to open new stores.
- Ensure meeting labour budgets

- Exceptional change, performance, and talent management skills.
- Engaging and effective communicator with commercial exposure.
- Leads and develops people insight-fully and purposefully.
