Direct Care Resources is a well-established care provider in Southeast Queensland, with a focus on supported independent living, community access, and child protection services. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, the organisation is dedicated to participant care, health, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Talent Acquisition
- End to end of the recruitment cycle from job posting, candidate screenings, talent pool management, interview bookings, reference checks, compliance checks and issuing contractual offers
- Utilising and improving our newly implemented ATS, JobAdder
- Organising and conducting recruitment activities and mandatory induction training
- Manage all onboarding and offboarding protocols
- Recruitment of both support workers and corporate positions
- Understanding of candidate demographics in alignment to client needs
- Conduct 6 weekly check-ins with new recruits and continuing the connection beyond candidate care
Talent Strategy
- Hero the opportunity to develop, project manage and implement a growth-driven recruitment process and strategy aligned to business development goals and business needs
- Champion the development and creation of an EVP – a creative opportunity that will focus on our competitive advantages, benefits, branding and organisational values
- Maximising our reach and attraction through improving our website, LinkedIn Recruiter and Social Media presence
- Maximise existing recruitment channels and pipelines to secure skilled candidates
- Develop and maintain recruitment metrics and reporting in order to accurately measure attrition, retention and headcount
HR Administration/Support
- Assign workflows, mandatory trainings and assist with initial compliance requirements for new recruits
- Manage the HR Inbox and action all items in a timely manner
- Collaborate with our Care Operations, Rostering and Payroll teams to track and manage the workforce for operational, reporting and compliance purposes
- Maintain and update our HRIS, BambooHR for all relevant workforce changes
- Assist in critical analysis and problem solving of HR initiatives and strategy implementation
- Develop a thorough knowledge of our EBA, S.H.A.D.S Award, NES, Fair Work and relevant employment legislations
- Be willing to learn and grow in the area of performance management processes
Compliance Support
- Collaborating with Leaders to utilise several systems for workforce data and compliance inclusive of Talent LMS, Brevity, PeakCare, Message Media, Power BI and BambooHR
- Support Leaders in updating, maintaining and managing workforce compliance and non-compliance via record and system updates, external regulatory portals, employee stand-down and shift holds and internal comms outputs
- Educate, coach and mentor Operational/Care teams to track and validate compliance through supervision
- Prepare and participate in regular NDIS and Child Safety Audit processes as requested
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and general HR Administration.
- Excellence in communication with a talent for engaging with diverse stakeholders and building long-term relationships
- The will to build a thorough understanding of recruiting for the needs of our clients, and clearly communicating mandatory working requirements
- Strong understanding of clinical environments and the NDIS/disability sector (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms such as JobAdder, BambooHR is experience highly regarded
- Degree qualified preferred
