Our client, a thriving commercial construction company in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs, is buzzing with growth. With a team of fifteen dedicated professionals and a genuinely great culture, they've recently welcomed a General Manager, which means there's a pivotal spot for an Office Manager to step in and become the true administrative architect of the business.

This isn't your average administration role. You'll be the strategic hub, coordinating, supporting, and enabling our core business functions to run like a well-oiled machine. You are the glue behind the scenes, ensuring smooth flow for the Director, General Manager, Construction Manager, and every one of their Project Teams.

Here’s how you’ll make a real impact:

  • You'll provide executive and administrative support, helping senior leadership and project teams keep their focus firmly on driving growth and project success
  • We're looking to you to refine and streamline office systems and processes. You'll transform administrative workflows, ensuring physical and electronic records are immaculate, and significantly boost overall efficiency
  • You'll become the go-to for vital deadlines, expertly setting up and monitoring key tender submissions so no opportunity is ever missed, and maintaining meticulous registers
  • If you see a better way, we want you to lead it! You'll drive initiatives to enhance business processes and reporting, creating tangible improvements that ripple across the entire company
  • You'll play a key part in fostering their fantastic work environment by assisting with essential HR administration, including the smooth onboarding of new team members

Ideally, you're a self-starter with a proven track record in a similar role, bringing excellent IT proficiency and the ability to confidently juggle multiple, urgent tasks. Your fantastic interpersonal and time management skills will be crucial, as you comfortably work independently while providing support to a variety of stakeholders.
