This business is one of Australia’s most dynamic mid tier civil mining Construction companies operating at a national level. On the civil side they handle a broad range of projects including ground works earthworks as well as major roads, bridges, pipelines, bulk earthworks and the list goes on.

We are searching for a HSE Advisor to manage: Health, Safety and Environmental plans across this live project. Practicing and implementing relevant legislation and regulations, while reporting into the Project Manager and supplying regular reports to the Group Manager.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

· Participate in and conduct regular HSE systems audits and inspections;

· Develop initiatives to ensure that all activities undertaken by the HSE Team are carried out in accordance to Safety Policies and Procedures

· Ensure that all actions generated from audits, hazards reports and incident investigations are closed out

· Coordinate the completion of HSE reporting requirements in accordance with required standards and timing

· Recognise and manage development needs through the Personal and Professional Development processes

· Support the site Project Manger in ensuring that all requirements of management information systems are met on a daily basis

To be successful you must have a proven track record of supporting HSE teams for a civil contractor in a similar role. Minimum of 2 years in HSE experience and have Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety, you'll need to be organised, have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Suite i.e Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel & SharePoint.
