We’re seeking a Transactional and Payroll Lead to join a people-focused team that supports your development through practical training, mentorship, and involvement in meaningful projects across WA’s key infrastructure and resource sectors.

In this role, you’ll report directly to the CFO and take the lead on payroll and transactional functions, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient processes across payroll, accounts payable, and financial systems in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing and transactional finance operations
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure alignment with project cost controls
• Maintain and enhance finance systems, including MYOB Advance/Acumatica
• Prepare payroll-related reports, reconciliations, and audits
• Implement process improvements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Liaise with internal teams and project stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and data accuracy

Requirements:

• 5-8 years’ experience in a similar transactional and payroll leadership role
• Experience in the construction industry is essential
• Strong knowledge of MYOB Advance or Acumatica is essential
• Background in accounts payable and cost control is desirable
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence outcomes
