About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic part time Medical Receptionist/Dispensary professional to join our dedicated team at the Eng Medical Centre in Brighton, VIC. This part-time role is an integral part of our medical practice, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical staff.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Efficiently managing patient bookings, rescheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records

Handling patient inquiries and addressing their needs in a timely and empathetic manner

Assisting with the dispensing of supplementation and maintaining the dispensary in an organised manner

Performing various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office duties

Ensuring the reception area and waiting room are well-presented and welcoming

What we're looking for

Be able to be flexible with hours and fill in when others are on annual leave or sick

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-focused role within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficient in the use of medical practice management software Medical Director an advantage.

Proven attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and patient information
