Our client is a globally recognised brand in industrial automation and machinery, delivering reliable, high-performance labelling, coding, and marking systems. Their technologies power production lines across food & beverage, manufacturing, logistics, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and environmental sectors.
With a strong R&D focus and reputation for uptime, compliance, and service, they’re a go-to name when it comes to scalable product identification solutions. To support continued growth across NSW, they’re now searching for a proven Account Manager to lead key relationships and expand market share.
About The Role
In this role, you’ll manage a defined territory across Sydney and regional NSW, owning customer relationships across both existing clients and new business development. You’ll sell capital equipment that integrates into packaging lines and production environments—bringing value through reliability, precision, and automation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and expanding a portfolio of manufacturing and industrial clients
Selling coding and labelling machinery into food, beverage, FMCG, and industrial sites
Conducting technical site visits, system audits, and product demos
Identifying and securing new business opportunities across target sectors
Collaborating with internal application and service teams for seamless delivery
Advising on integration into conveyors, palletisers, and production systems
Maintaining strong product knowledge and market awareness
About You
You’re a commercially savvy capital equipment salesperson who loves getting into the workings of a production environment. You know how to build trust with operators, project engineers, and procurement teams alike—and you’re confident selling both the technical value and the ROI of complex machinery.
Additionally, you will bring:
Proven experience selling capital or mechanical equipment (labelling, packaging, conveying, palletising, etc.)
Background in selling to manufacturing, food & beverage, or industrial clients
A solid mechanical or electrical aptitude (engineering qualifications highly regarded)
Confidence leading site visits and understanding production line integration
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A proactive, strategic approach to account growth and territory planning
Salary & Benefits
$100,000 to $120,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Commissions
